This is the under painting of a new piece I just started. I am pretty excited about it. It is the profile of a mermaid and the majority of the piece is her hair filled with creatures of the sea. The chaos of the hair will be a beautiful contrast to the quiet, graceful features of the model. I will start the next layer of oil soon... adding detail and color. Check back soon!
